Yevai's research forms part of the Veni project Transforming Food Labour for Just Food Futures (2024–2027), funded by the Dutch Research Council (NWO), supervised by Dr Vladimir Bogoeski, Dr Laura Burgers and Prof. Marija Bartl.
She has previous work experience in the financial services sector and has undertaken research projects exploring sustainable banking in the Netherlands. She is also interested in animal rights law and has worked on various research projects that were focused on animal law in South Africa. She holds and LL.B from the University of Witwatersrand as well as a master's degree in International Business Law focused on climate change and corporations from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. She particularly enjoyed courses on Problems of Market Regulation, Corporate Law (issues of CSR), and Climate Change Liability.
Her research interests include business and human rights, global value chains and African approaches to private law.
